Writing Your Ads

Preparation of your ads is probably the most challenging part of the process, however it is the most important step and requires some planning. You will want to include as many of your keywords as possible. Follow the guidelines below.

Step 1-Use Your Keywords

We have already determined our 6 main keyword phrases that were entered into the traffic portals "Linking" section. They were:

internet marketing
social networking
make money online
network marketing
home based business
web conferencing

Use at least one of these keywords, or keyword phrases, in each sentence of your ad. Here are some examples to get you started. Change the wording as you desire... add words, delete words, and combine sentences to come up with something of your own. You may also copy and paste the sentences below exactly as they are.

Here's an example of how to create thousands of ads out of the 100 sentences below.

Ads 1-10: Use sentences 1-10 below, each ad being only one line.

Ad 11: Use sentence 1 and sentence 2 below, making the ad 2 sentences long.

Ad 12: Use sentence 1 and sentence 3 below, making the ad 2 sentences long.

Ad 13: Use sentence 1 and sentence 4 below, making the ad 2 sentences long. Continue on....

Then starting with Ad 21: Use sentence 2 and sentence 3 below, making the ad 2 sentences long, and so on.

Continue mixing sentences however you desire and making the ad as long as you want. Remember, these ads are seldom seen by individuals. They ARE captured by autoresponders and by Search Engine (SE) Spiders. That's the purpose for always having your keywords in each ad.

Additionally, we are including links in each of the ads so that the links will be read by the SE Spiders and be redirected to view your websites and traffic portals.

HOW TO Post Classified Ads in Your Own 1st Classified Traffic Portal

1. Go to http://veretekk.1-family.com/yourusername

2. In the section entitled "To post an Ad, please fill in all fields" enter your name, vanity email address which is yourusername@veretekk.com, ie., mailto:ijuliewillems@veretekk.com, address, city, state, zip code, country, and phone number. All fields are required. If you are concerned about privacy use a PO Box, however I have not seen the address show up on the ads. You will want to put a valid phone number so someone can reach you.

3. Select a department to post your ad by clicking on the arrow in the blue box. A drop down box will appear where you click on the desired category where your ad will be placed. My suggestion is to start start with the first category (automotive). Place multiple ads, then move on to the next category placing the very same ads to that category, and so on.

Select up to six keywords or keyword phrases

Write your ad title
Write your metatag (ad description) using all of your keywords or phrases
Write your ad by repeating your metatag wording and then expand as space permits

If you follow that guideline, I believe you'll find your ads are "writing themselves." For longer ads, you will simply elaborate on the content of a short ad, but be sure to begin your ads with the same wording as your shorter ads. There are reasons for this which you will learn about in the Gold advanced training classes.

Finding your keywords or keyword phrases: List at least 12 of the key words you think are most appropriate for the subject or content of your ad, as well as the words you would use yourself if searching for that subject. Then enter your keywords or keyword phrases into the Keyword Selector Tool, which is a free tool provided by Yahoo! This will tell you how many people recently searched for something using those keywords or phrases. Revise your list of keywords or keyword phrases to utilize those which produced the best results. If you use the most popular keywords, you will have more competition than if you use those that are slightly less popular. You'll want words or phrases that were searched for at least 10,000 times during the month being reported.

Using your keywords or phrases: Arrange up to six keywords or phrases in order, starting with the best, and convert that list into a proper sentence for your ad title (using as many as you can fit in), and into one to three sentences for your metatag or description (using them all). Repeat your metatag when writing your first paragraph, and expand or elaborate in your ad as space permits. Note: You can use less than six and you may also use more, but I recommend that you start with six, as they will fit into your configuration sections within Veretekk. Also, it's OK to have a non-key word inserted in a keyword phrase.

Example: Let's assume you sell or repair quality widgets and also provide instructions to your customers on basic widget repair, and after searching for the best keywords or phrases your keyword list looks like this:

widget repair
repair widgets
use widgets

Your ad title might be one of these, depending on length limitations:

Buy one of our durable widgets, and use your widget for life!, or
Durable widgets and widget repair, or
Get our durable widgets here, we'll teach you to use and repair widgets.

Your metatag or description might look like this:

Buy our durable widgets and use them for life. We are widget repair specialists. Learn how to use widgets and repair widgets you already own.

Note that I have used every keyword and keyword phrase at least once, in the metatag example.

Your ad content might look like this:

Buy our durable widgets and use them for life. We are widget repair specialists. Learn how to use widgets and repair widgets you already own. [Plus a "call to action," and ending here for a portal configuration ad, which would have your site URL; otherwise continue with the next paragraph.]
